It’s summertime in Las Vegas, and I recently completed an exciting food photography project for Wynn Las Vegas. The shoot focused on capturing new dishes and vibrant sushi platters from two of the resort’s top dining venues: Lakeside Grill and Mizumi.
Photographing food in an upscale environment like Wynn requires attention to every detail – from the styling of the dishes to the lighting conditions. Food photography isn’t just about making dishes look good; it’s about conveying freshness, craftsmanship, and the overall dining experience. Working on-site at both Lakeside Grill and Mizumi allowed me to highlight the artistry and precision that the chefs put into every plate.
The images created during this session will be used for advertising and public relations campaigns, helping Wynn maintain its reputation as one of Las Vegas’s premier dining destinations. High-end food photography plays a crucial role in communicating a restaurant’s brand identity, especially in a competitive culinary market like Las Vegas.

One unexpected highlight of the day was sampling a truly unforgettable pineapple. The chef had recently returned from a trip to Kauai and brought back Kauai Sugarloaf pineapples—easily the sweetest and most flavorful pineapple I’ve ever tasted. Small moments like this remind me how much passion and authenticity top chefs bring to their work.
Projects like this reinforce how professional food photography in Las Vegas can elevate the public perception of a restaurant. Great imagery encourages new guests to book reservations, share experiences online, and connect emotionally with a brand.
