My latest obsession is collecting stereo amplifiers and equipment, with much of it being vintage. I guess photographers are tech and gear guys at heart. My new acquisition is a 502B Jolida tube amp, which I bought online from audiogon.com. After some tube changes and a biasing it sounds great! I hooked it up to my Mcintosh pre amp and vintage JBL speakers.
I shot this product image of the tubes glowing on the amp. I think It’s pretty sexy!
My latest architectural/interior shoot was a project for Giorgio Armani. I photographed a newly remodeled retail store for them on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California.
It was a very large space and was beautifully done. I have been shooting many retail projects in the past six months. It looks like the economy is finally on the upswing and getting better.
I recently wrapped shooting interiors at the new wine bar and restaurant at Wynn called La Cave.
What a beautiful, well designed space.
We pulled an all nighter on this one. I haven’t done that in a while.
I have been contacted by many clients to photograph projects at CityCenter Las Vegas since it’s opening.
One of the more notable ones was for Gensler Architects. We shot many architectural images throughout the property over a two day period. This is one of my favorite images from the shoot.
